A broad set of tools for Asset Integrity Management

Risk Assessment Tools

Atteris develops bespoke risk assessment software tools for our clients according to individual company specifications. Bespoke risk assessment spreadsheets enable full compliance with corporate risk assessment procedures. Atteris has delivered risk assessment tools for pipelines, subsea equipment and offshore wind turbine components.

Risk assessment spreadsheets can be developed for qualitative risk assessments, semi-quantitative risk assessments and qualitative risk assessments. Advanced VBA programming is used, delivering efficient risk workshops and reporting, and clear visualization of results.

Pipeline Assurance and Compliance Tool (PACT)

Demonstrating assurance and compliance to legislation, regulations, performance standards, codes and standards, safety management plans and integrity management plans is made simple using Atteris’ Pipeline Assurance and Compliance Tool (PACT).

AIM SOFTWARE PACT has been used by pipeline operators to measure the performance of a pipeline integrity management system or pipeline safety system, and to provide a mechanism for instant-compliance reporting to the regulatory authority.

ONE Asset Integrity Management Software

In collaboration with a software partner, Atteris can deliver an Asset Integrity Management Software (AIMS) solution for your operating facility or pipeline that will:

  • Store and manage component design information, operating data and integrity history
  • Manage and execute work packs and inspections with direct input via a mobile device
  • Track and manage reported anomalies through controlled workflows
  • Perform risk-based assessments and generate risk-based integrity plans
  • Generate reports against KPIs, performance standards and more.

Digital AIMS solutions can deliver significant OPEX savings.

Pipeline Defect Assessment Manual (PDAM)

Atteris is a JIP member of the Pipeline Defect Assessment Manual (PDAM), giving access to global best practices and software tools to carry out engineering assessments. Some of the types of defects that are considered in PDAM are:

  • Corrosion
  • Gouges
  • Plain and kinked dents
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Weld defects
  • Cracking

The manual considers interaction between defects leading to a reduction in the burst strength, the assessment of defects in pipe fittings, and predicting the behaviour of defects upon failing, including both leak or rupture, and fracture propagation.
