Apache Energy Limited (AEL) utilised Atteris’ expertise in integrity management to define and streamline its Asset Integrity Management Program (AIMP). The AIMP provided clarity on the framework for managing the integrity of fixed and static assets.
Background
Asset integrity management systems are established to support the operations phase to ensure that operating assets remain fit for continued service. The AIM system comprises processes that need to be supported by organisational systems. Fundamental requirements of the system are defined in Pipeline Licences, Legislation and Codes and Guidelines.
Work Performed by Atteris

The Asset Integrity Management Program (AIMP) was developed to encompass all fixed and static assets in the North West Shelf (NWS). The integrity management framework was described in this document and defined the following:

  • Policies and procedures
  • Asset integrity management process
  • Risk assessment process
  • Inspection and monitoring strategies
  • Analysis and verification strategies
  • Remediation and repair strategies
  • Feedback, auditing and reporting
  • Asset sparing philosophy.
