Asset Integrity Management System

Integrating Atteris’ vast experience of Integrity Management and Engineering Design, Atteris was worked with the client in the development of a comprehensive management system which included risk-based inspection (RBI) methodologies. The subsea system was systematically deconstructed and integrity management issues address by component, area, and task. Positive feedback was received by operations for the structure and specific nature of the plans.
Background
The Wheatstone subsea development comprises:
• 23 trees across 6 subsea drill centres, flowline jumpers and manifolds • Infield pipelines between drill centres and the platform facility • Wheatstone Platform Steel Gravity Structure (GBS) • 225 km, 44-inch carbon steel subsea export trunkline
Work Performed by Atteris

Atteris developed the through-life Integrity Management System and supporting documentation for the Wheatstone subsea system. Working as part of an integrated team with Chevron, Atteris:

  • Defined the Inspection Monitoring Maintenance and Repair (IMMR) Strategy
  • Delivered the Asset Integrity Management (AIM), Risk Directed Integrity Management (RDIM) and Risk Based Inspection (RBI) processes and methodologies
  • Facilitated risk workshops with discipline engineers to identify system gaps, high risk areas, and components which require specific integrity management
  • Prepared the Subsea System Inspection Monitoring Maintenance and Repair (IMMR) Strategy and Plan and finalised the Corrosion Management Plan (CMP).
  • Complied with the Chevron AIM process, the Surface Equipment Reliability and Integrity Process (SERIP), and the Wheatstone Asset Integrity Implementation Plan.
