Benefits
Atteris performed Front-End Engineering Design for the Browse trunkline shore crossings at James Price Point (JPP) for the 2010 B2K reference case. Atteris’ work provided a design solution that was feasible to execute.
Background
The 2010 B2K reference case, proposes that deep water offshore hubs will transport gas to a Central Processing Facility (CPF) located ~300 km North-West of Broome. From the CPF, product will be transported via Dry Gas and a Liquid Export Trunklines to an LNG processing facility at the Browse LNG Precinct located near JPP on the Dampier Peninsula.
Work Performed by Atteris

Atteris delivered the shore crossing design solution for both the Gas and Liquid Export trunklines at JPP. The scope of work included:

  • Shore crossing Design Premise
  • Shore crossing geological engineering model
  • Route alignment definition
  • Pipeline installation load and stability design
  • Corrosion protection design and monitoring solutions
  • Design of pipe-jacked tunnel solution including mechanical design, materials selection, corrosion assessment, constructability review
  • Design of HDD solution including mechanical design, materials selection, corrosion assessment, constructability review
  • Specifications and datasheets
  • Scour and sediment transport studies
  • Hazard Identification (HAZID) studies and assessments
  • Cost and Schedule Estimation
