Atteris delivered the pipeline shore crossing design for the 2010 B2K Reference Case Browse LNG Development. The work performed by Atteris provided Woodside with a feasible shore crossing design solution at James Price Point (JPP).
Background
For the 2010 B2K Reference Case, three deep water offshore hubs will transport gas to a Central Processing Facility (CPF) located ~300 km North West of Broome. From the CPF, product will be transported via a dry Gas Export and a Liquid Export Trunkline to an LNG processing facility at the Browse LNG Precinct near JPP on the Dampier Peninsular.
Work Performed by Atteris

Atteris performed the pre-FEED design of the Browse trunkline shore crossings. The scope of work that was delivered included:

  • Design Premise and Bases of Design
  • Geotechnical engineering model and soil testing
  • Feasibility studies and engineering assessments that was used as input into a multi-criteria assessment for the available shore crossing options – Open cut and trench, Horizontal Directionally Drilled (HDD), Tunnelling and Jetty
  • Route selection and assessment of pipeline corridors
  • Hazard Identification (HAZID)
  • Technical input and support for EPC tender scope of works
  • Shore crossing report
  • Offshore site survey and project engineering
