Pluto LNG Project

Benefits
Woodside was able to very effectively utilise the extensive and broad expertise of Atteris in the field of pipeline engineering in the North West Shelf of Australia.
With significant previous project experience on similar projects in the same area, Atteris was able to develop reliable concept engineering solutions for complex problems, such as, a congested nearshore area (Mermaid Sound), a shoreline crossing in an igneous rock area, pre-trenching solutions, and quarry rock sourcing solutions for secondary stabilisation and external impact protection.
Woodside Energy subsequently engaged Atteris for the FEED and Detailed Design phases.
Background
Upon discovery of the offshore Pluto Gas Field in 2005, operator Woodside Energy Ltd engaged Atteris to assist with concept engineering studies. The key focus area for Atteris during the early concept engineering phase was in relation to the offshore trunkline system.
