Atteris was initially engaged to challenge the shore approach and secondary stabilisation design performed in the Front-end Engineering Design stage of the project. Following on from an initial review Atteris were then engaged to completely re-design the shore approach and secondary stabilisation for the near shore section of the pipeline. A major outcome of this work was the simplification of the shore approach construction and elimination of the vast majority of secondary stabilisation, saving the project in excess of $100 million. The use of Atteris DNV verified in-house stability analysis software Corus-3D was a key enabler of this outcome.
Following on from that success, Atteris were engaged to complete the detail design of the pipeline and infield facilities, and provide owners engineering support throughout the project execution phase. This included support during pre-trenching/ backfilling, pipeline construction, pre-commissioning and span intervention activities offshore.
