Benefits
Atteris performed verification of the flexible flowline and umbilical installation analysis performed by Subsea 7. Through this work, Atteris provided additional confidence to the client by performing sensitivity analysis for the final laydown of the FMC UCON-H diverless connectors in the view of highlighting potential issues that may arise during this process. This allowed the client to work with the installation contractor to address the issues to minimise the risks of overstressing the connectors and interface hubs.
Background
The Persephone Field is located in approximately 126 m water depth, approximately 6.5 km NE of the North Rankin Complex and 135 km NNW of Karratha, WA. The Persephone subsea architecture will comprise of two wells tied-in to a subsea production manifold at a common drill centre location, via well jumpers. From the manifold, the production fluid will be transported to the North Rankin Complex, via a 12 inch flexible flowline into a rigid riser via the SE1 conductor slot on North Rankin A.
