Taking over from Dermot O’Brien who has been in the position for the past six years, Allison Selman will step into the position of General Manager, to ensure strong leadership of Atteris well into the future.
Allison Selman has more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector and has been with Atteris for the past 10 years. Dermot O’Brien will maintain a fulltime role with Atteris as the Subsea Pipelines Business Manager, and Allison will remain the Asset Lifecycle Business Manager. Both Allison and Dermot will continue to deliver projects assigned to them, as has always been the case given the nature of our business.
With offices in Perth, Western Australia and Houston, USA, Atteris will continue to provide quality engineering to the offshore and onshore energy sectors. To achieve this, we have an integrated team with the breadth of experience and knowledge to support our clients through the full project lifecycle.
Allison says: “I am excited for the opportunity to lead Atteris, a company that has thrived because of strong leadership by Dermot O’Brien, and Eric Jas who founded the company 25 years ago. It is such a privilege to be part of a great company where people are supported, mentored, and developed throughout their career.”
Dermot says: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to lead Atteris as General Manager for the last 6 years. From a personal viewpoint, I feel this is the right time for me to stand down from the role, and testament to the strength of Atteris’ succession planning, Allison has been unanimously approved by our shareholders to succeed me. I will be continuing to work for Atteris full time, supporting Allison and focusing more on project and technical work. A big thanks to all our staff, clients and industry colleagues who have supported me in my time as Atteris GM.”
