Atteris updated pipeline safety cases and operational pipeline management plans for all of Quadrant Energy’s Varanus Hub pipelines. This work was required for compliance and the Formal Safety Assessment process that was applied provided assurance that risks were ALARP or being adequately managed.

Background

Atteris was engaged to provide engineering services based on our technical capability in this area.

The work required an understanding of regulations, pipeline safety cases, risk assessment processes and regulatory submission requirements.

Pipeline safety cases were delivered for licensed pipeline systems and operational pipeline management plans were delivered for non-licensed pipeline systems.

Work Performed by Atteris

The scope included:

Review of existing pipeline safety cases and operational pipeline management plans.
Collate and assess operations and integrity data from last document revisions.
Prepared and facilitated Formal Safety Assessment workshops.
Updated pipeline safety cases and operational pipeline management plans.
Provision of regulatory submissions technical support through to approvals.
